Changelog
What’s new in Executen
From the first snippet in February to Action Center this week. Command Center, agents, desk — shipped in public, including the boring honesty.
-
New
Action Center as the only live door
Approve, pause, and roll back experiences from one stage. The next move stays in front of the person who owns the shop — not buried in a sidebar, not whispered into Slack.
- Approve Experience, Review AI Recommendation, Experiment Winner on the main stage.
- A kill switch that does not require a theme deploy.
- Agents still cannot publish, pause, or roll back. That is the point of the door.
-
New
Growth Agent tools on live workspace data
Ask why checkout dropped. The agent reads the numbers you already have — evidence, a recommendation, a draft. It does not invent a crisis, and it does not put copy live while you sleep.
- Read-only tools on Briefs, opportunities, and funnel stages.
- Draft a segment or an experience. Publish stays human.
- No raw SQL in chat. Forbidden tools stay forbidden.
-
Improved
Opportunities respect sample size
A comparable window with enough visitors earns a card. Twenty sessions do not. Insufficient data is a label now, not a fake crisis painted to look like product.
- Kind today: conversion_drop by device, country, path, or locale.
- Acknowledge, resolve, reopen — without losing the brief.
- Quiet shops stay quiet. That is correct.
-
New
Sales widget knowledge studio
Crawl the public site. Ingest documents, products, FAQs. Write a playbook that can refuse to invent prices. The widget is how shoppers knock; the studio is how the desk knows what you sell.
- Website, documents, products, FAQs as sources.
- Playground before shoppers see a turn.
- Prompt-injection screening. Complaints and custom quotes go to the inbox.
-
New
WhatsApp Cloud API
A real Business number, webhooks, approved templates. Until the number is connected the row stays disconnected. We will not throw confetti for a message that never left.
- Same agent and knowledge from widget to WhatsApp.
- Opt-out is a path, not a footer footnote.
- Campaigns stay blocked until the template is approved. That is Meta. We respect it.
-
New
Customer-hosted sales connector
Shops that will not put every transcript in someone else’s region can keep leads and messages on their own metal. Cloud still returns the next sales decision.
- Heartbeat and turn API.
- Widget posts to connectorUrl when it is set.
- Optional. Most desks run without it.
-
Improved
Visual editor device frames
Desktop, tablet, mobile for experience drafts. Click a region, change the copy or image, preview before anyone on the storefront sees it. Still not a live Shopify admin inside an iframe.
- Same publish path as the form. The editor is faster, not a second product.
- Heatmap overlay shows real Element Clicked counts only. Empty means empty.
- Preview tokens never pollute live analytics.
-
New
Experiments on a published treatment
Control versus variant, allocated at decide(). The SDK sends Experiment Assigned for both arms so measurement has a real control group. A person still publishes the winner.
- Conversion from your order events, not vanity opens.
- Deduped per tab session. Preview traffic never assigns.
- No silent auto-winner while you sleep.
-
Fixed
Tracking Health stage coverage
Page → product → cart → checkout → order. If a stage never fires, it stays blank. We stopped borrowing a neighbour’s number to make the funnel look finished.
- Freshness, volume, and which stages you actually cover.
- Alias-tolerant names (GA4 / Segment) still map. Missing stays missing.
- Revenue needs an amount on the order. Conversion is orders ÷ visitors.
-
New
Shopify OAuth and WooCommerce HMAC
Paid orders map into the same pipeline as the snippet. Partner App or webhook secret required. Depth varies by shop. Unpaid and cancelled orders are skipped on purpose.
- Shopify paid → Order Completed with total and currency.
- WooCommerce HMAC on the raw body. No WordPress.org plugin to pretend about.
- The snippet still covers the storefront. Checkout may stay blank until you emit Checkout Started.
-
New
Brand Brain confirm
Paste the public homepage. Executen drafts a summary. You edit tone, positioning, categories. Confirm. From then on Growth, SEO, Designer, Merchandiser, and Analyst work from that page — not from a model’s guess.
- Homepage heuristics, not a crawl of every SKU.
- Your saved text outranks inference.
- Confirm is an audit event. Re-analyze when the site changes.
-
New
Specialist roster in the Command Center
Growth, SEO, Designer, Merchandiser, Analyst. They share Brand Brain. They draft. There is no all-knowing single bot, and none of them hold publish, pause, rollback, or SQL.
- Growth works the leak and the next experience.
- SEO drafts a calendar. Optional CMS webhook — no silent WordPress login.
- Designer and Merchandiser stay inside scoped regions.
-
New
Experiences, markers, and fail-open decide
Storefront changes as allow-listed DOM actions — set_text, set_image, show, hide, insert. Mark a region with data-executen. The edge decides in 1.5 seconds or the page loads as it was. No arbitrary JavaScript on the theme.
- Path, device, locale, country as targeting. Segment membership came later.
- Anti-flicker on marked nodes until html.executen-ready, or 900ms.
- page(), track(), identify() on the snippet. Strong-id merge only — not “same browser, same person.”
-
New
Website snippet and publishable write keys
The Command Center learned to listen. One script, a pk_live_… in the tag, collect and decide on the script origin. Home stayed empty until events arrived. That emptiness was the product working — we did not paint a fake $48k day to look busy.
- Publishable key in the browser. Secret keys stay on the server.
- data-workspace ignored. Auth is the write key.
- This is where the shipping log starts. Everything above grew from this line of code.
