Shopify & Woo
Any commerce site can load the snippet. Shopify and WooCommerce are connections that map paid orders into the same pipeline. Partner app or webhook secret required. Depth varies by shop.
What each door is for
| Door | Status | What arrives |
|---|---|---|
| Website snippet | Now | Page, clicks, identify, whatever you track. |
| Shopify | Partial | OAuth, paid-order webhooks, optional customer/product sync. Partner App required. |
| WooCommerce | Partial | HMAC webhooks. Secret required. No WordPress.org plugin. |
Shopify
- Connect from Integrations. OAuth. We never ask you to paste an Admin API token into a chat.
- Paid orders map to Order Completed with total, optional subtotal, currency. Unpaid, cancelled, and refunded orders are skipped on purpose.
- Keep the snippet on the storefront for Page Viewed, Product Viewed, Product Added, and identity after customer login.
document.addEventListener("submit", (event) => {
const form = event.target;
if (!(form instanceof HTMLFormElement)) return;
if (!form.action.includes("/cart/add")) return;
const sku = form.querySelector('[name="id"]')?.value;
executen.track("Product Added", { variant_id: sku, quantity: 1 });
});
WooCommerce
Connect a webhook secret from Integrations. HMAC on the raw body. We will not pretend a .org plugin exists. Put the snippet in the theme; identify logged-in buyers; let the webhook carry paid orders.
jQuery(document.body).on("added_to_cart", function (_e, _fragments, _hash, $button) {
var sku = $button && $button.data("product_sku");
var id = $button && $button.data("product_id");
executen.track("Product Added", { sku: sku, product_id: String(id), quantity: 1 });
});
Catalog rows for HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe stay labeled Catalog until they are actually connected. A green tick is earned.
